Another lyric that is particularly meaningful “The bloond in these veins isn’t pumping any less than it ever has, ’cause it’s the hope that i have that’s keeping me alive.” When you think about any stressful time in your life, yeah it may be tough, you may feel like your breaking but sometimes you just have to take a step back to think and breathe. ![]() The line “gotta let it happen” is something that I myself have learned that sometimes you just have to let life take its course. The beat starts slower and quiet but builds up with more guitar. But she also sings that for most people, there has to be something to keep us chugging along when we believe that all hope is gone. Sure, life sucks sometimes, and Hayley, the lead singer realizes that. Most people just want to be happy, so the thought that other people hurting can ruin the mellow, but this song really get’s rid of that generalized sad feelings. Some people may think this to be a kind of debby downer type of concept, cause we don’t always wanna here about the pain and suffering that others go through. ![]() It may not even been explicitly stated, but there is something over the years that has kept them going no matter how hard times get for them. The song is about while everything has gotten relatively tough over the years, there has been a small spark that has managed to keep her going, whether it be the lead singer or just anyone in general. The song last hope, while the title seems to have one connotation, the lyrics itself are of another. Now, I don’t really like the album version of this song, if you were to compare the two you would see that the live version has more of a appreciable range, while the studio version lacks that certain….umf! Like her voice conveys more feelings, lending more emotion to the overall message of the song. Okay, so from a relatively known and older band, Paramore, we have one of my favorites, Last hope from their 2013 album Paramore.
